What are Parents Saying About the Effect of the Mental Edge Program?
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible impact you've had on my child's life through your exceptional coaching in the mental aspects of baseball, along with his personal life. Your dedication and unique coaching style have truly made a profound difference, not only in their performance on the field but also in their overall well-being.From the very beginning, it was evident that you were focused on nurturing his mental strength and resilience. Your emphasis on the importance of a positive mindset, goal-setting, and mental toughness has been instrumental in helping my child overcome challenges and setbacks both on and off the field. One of the aspects that stands out the most is your ability to instill confidence and self-belief in each player. My child has not only improved their baseball skills but has also developed a newfound confidence in themselves. This newfound self-assurance extends beyond the baseball diamond, positively influencing their approach to academics and personal relationships. As a parent, witnessing the transformation in my child's mental state under your coaching has been nothing short of remarkable. I am grateful for the positive impact you've had on his life, and I feel fortunate that he had the opportunity to learn and grow under your mentorship.Thank you Chad for being a great mentor who has played a significant role in shaping not only my child's baseball skills but also their character and mindset. We are truly blessed to have you as part of our extended baseball family.
With sincere appreciation,

I wholeheartedly recommend Chad to any sports parent. Chad helps student athletes overcome challenges in their day-to-day lives. The grind for student athletes is challenging to juggle. Schoolwork, practices, extra lessons for their sport, maintaining a social life, all while navigating the teenage years, puts pressure on young athletes and can cause stress. Chad gives student athletes tools they need to be successful on and off the field. He challenges them to see themselves in a different light and empowers them to control their thoughts as they deal with adversity and he demands of playing sports. Chad was a blessing and in my opinion, a necessity for student athletes. The tools he teaches will benefit them beyond sports into their adult lives. He has also been a huge help for me personally to see this differently.

Chad Hermansen worked with my 14 year old son Easton. From the very first sessions, Cha'd mindset Mental Edge Coaching made an absolute immediate impact. I sincerely couldn't believe he still has several more sessions to go. Anyone who reads this post needs to seriously consider having your athlete work with Chad. Chad helped my son so much we have referred him to close friends who have young male and female athletes. Lastly, we need to consider having him us as parents with our own mindsets, especially if you have felt you have been overbearing with your athlete.

"Baseball is a very mental game and coming back from an injury is one of the toughest mental aspects of the game. I am just coming back off Tommy John surgery that made me unsure of how I was going to perform once I got back on the mound. With Chad Hermansen’s Mental Edge Training he has shown me ways to overcome that fear. For example to throw a slider or a change up again and the mental aspects of being motivated to go work hard and be the best player that I can possibly be. Chad is very easy to share what was happening for me and it very informative through this whole process to get me back on track and believe in myself."

"Chad is wonderful person and coach … my 8th grader worked with him and he was extremely friendly, positive, and encouraging … he teaches baseball and life lessons … he is great for young men who need motivation and direction. He is easy to contact and communicate with. Work with him if you can."

"Chad has the been one of the best people I’ve gotten the chance to meet and work with over the past year. I wish I would have crossed paths with Chad sooner in my career. No one person is the same and sometimes it’s the conversations and knowledge you gain from those that influence you’re thought process. Just having someone like Chad, who has been through just about all of the highs and lows makes your journey easier knowing that you aren’t alone and having someone else that gets it too. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a bunch of mental guys in my years, but Chad has been the guy who I know I can trust and help me through just about anything."

"During my weekly sessions with Chad, he helped me gain confidence and simplified my hitting approach. I went from hitting .275 during the first half of the season to hitting over .400 the second half. I have never felt more confident at the plate. Chad took the time to identify my weaknesses, and showed me how to gradually change my mindset. This process was awesome, I highly recommend working with Chad!"

"Coach Hermansen transformed the way I think on the mound. I often found myself rushing and letting the game speed up and feeling like I was in a constant downward spiral. After working with Chad, I found out how to stop myself from those feelings and how to pick myself up out of the dirt. I went from being a last option out of the bullpen to the first guy out as a freshman at a very competitive university. I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything I did without the help of Chad and his talks."
Nick Calleo Palo Verde High School
"Chad and I have been working for a couple of sessions, he has helped me with my whole mental approach. Whether it being baseball or life he has helped me tremendously. He really takes the time to understand you and finds a way to help based on you. The tapping sessions make you feel amazing. It totally relaxes you and helps clear your mind. After you finish tapping you are immediately more confident and feel as if you can take on the whole world. Overall, Chad is a great person who only wants the best from you. He wants to see you succeed in everything."

"Working with Chad has been a very helpful tool in preparing for games and staying confident. Mental toughness is something I have not spent a lot of time on. After working with Chad I have become a big believer in mental preparation of your sport. He has given me great tips on how to stay focused and have a positive attitude while playing and preparing for games. He is a great source to go to for mental help in your game."

“My 12 year old son Jackson has a goal to play sports in college. He’s always been a natural athlete but has struggled mentally throughout the Covid pandemic. We turned to Chad and his mental edge training to keep his mind sharp and his spirits up. Chad helped him set goals and focus on the things he can control. Jackson respects Chad and worked to be accountable to him in a way that was far more effective than being accountable to mom and dad (who are annoying), his coaches (who have dozens of kids to train), or even himself (who’d rather watch YouTube). I highly recommend Chad to any young athlete who has a desire to get to the next level.”

"When I first started working with Chad I wasn’t in a good place on and off the field, having someone there who would listen and also gave me tools to help gain my confidence back was huge. I am a collegiate athlete and I can only imagine how far ahead I would be if I would have worked with him earlier in my career. We as athletes focus so much of our time and energy into our physical skills when really the mental side of the game is just as important if not more important, my game really started to excel when I started to put that time and energy into my head, and the results have been nothing but fun!"
